Yet Another Game

Today was long, but very good!!! I spent the first part of it at school, average yes I know. The second part wasw downtown with my girlfriend. Which was so amazing!!!!! I don't alwats get to spend enough time with her. Any time at all is amazing. After that we walked back to the band room and we played!!!

We had a game tonight, last night now I guess. It was really fun!!!! we marched the show well!!! I messed up quite a few times, but I am really exited about improving it. It is going to look awesome! And sound awesome!!!

The only thing I didn't like was some idiot from our school went out on the field and made fun of th eopposing team. It made us look really bad quite honestly. And then one of our team members got hurt. Which was not good!

I am really tired now. Long but very good day as I said.

Peace.

Old Family

It was a crazy weekend. It's kinda late and I have school tomorrow, so I have to be kinda brief. But It was my uncle's fiftieth birthday!!! Well, his party anyway. So they had a huge party and I went. That was day before yesterday really. It's after mid-night. Today is my Birthday!! Which is pretty cool, I must say. Anyway, the party was awesome! Me and my brother jammed with my aunt's band. We had fun and did pretty well!

before that on Thursday my Cousin got Married!! It was a surprise wedding They had wanted to get married a long time and just hadn't done it. So they did!! That was fun too. Had to work pretty hard to get all the homework done though.

Life has been very good, a little dramatic but just awesome!! So far today is a great birthday! I have a game for Marching band on next Saturday which will be amazing! Our show is going to rock!!! Haven't written much in general. Poetry or blog. Will start I think. Sort of have an idea for a poem. Well! Later! Peace.

Eventful Waits and Marching Bands

Dude, my titles are very random. That's me!

Lots has happened since I last wrote. School has started up again, marching band played our first game, and life is going on. I must say, life is wonderful. Just hits you sometimes. Life may be hard, but it is wonderful. For all it's difficulty.

While I write this I am sitting in my room, listening to the Beetles and thinking about the day. A lot happened just today. Two close friends got into a fight. OR really continued a fight that I wish they would stop. They are both amazing people and need to work everything out. I will admit that I am probably biased to one side, but still. I wish people wouldn't fight. It just hurts.

Anyway! Even though that has been kind of eventful, life is wonderful!!! I am very very happy. School has been going fine, I like my classes and am having fun. Marching band is of course amazing!!! As always. How could it not be rockin? No way. As I said, we played our first game, which went better than I thought it would! We weren't perfect, but it was really good! Especially for a first game. We've been cleaning sets for a while. Which is very good! But maybe we could even work a little harder. It's amazing anyway.
I didn't mention before that Jazz band started! That is also amazing! I'm so glad to have picked up my bass for a group again! It really is fun! Music is indefinably good for me. Along with the people in my life right now. You know who you are!

Band camp was fun! Very intense. Didn't want to move afterwards.

Life has been really good, as I said! There is a little drama here and there. But that can't ruin life!! I have amazing people, once again who know who they are, in my life! I've really been happy! And will stay that way. Very very sorry that I haven't written sooner! Just have been really busy! That's all for now!

Telescope's making peace

Ok, the title by itself will make no sense. So let me explain. I was at a concert today. Telescope, a little local band that is stellar opened, Meat Puppets was second, they weren't that great. And finally Rodger Cline and the Peace Makers closed. they were the main attraction. It was a great concert! Telescope was really really good! I've had a CD from them but hadn't listened to it yet. I wish I had sooner. They are really really good! Kind of a punk/pop/rock thing. They need their own bracket. They have a my space page if you want to check them out. Or a website. If you Google telescope band you'll be able to find it!

The Meat Puppets were just chaos. Not my thing at all. A lot of people liked them a lot though. Just not my thing. They were a country chaotic band. I don't know. Google them if you want to find out more!

Cline and the Peace makers were rockin! If you like rock, U2, stuff like that, you would love them. They were just amazing. Everything. Wonderful show, songwriting, musicians. I was really happy. I almost touched the bassist! I was right by the stage jumping up and down. He was so close. It was really cool. Great great show! I got a CD there, a live album. It had a lot of the same songs and stuff. I'll get a studio one next!

Cline is an Indy artist, a really good Indy artist. He Has had a lot of fairly popular songs. Not too mainstream though. It's really great. Definitely look him up!

Well, that's about all I have to write about this time! Baritone is going well, as is bass. My person is doing better. So life is good! Music is amazing.

A Baritone!

I finally got my baritone horn! It isn't a marching instrument, but I need to learn to play before marching season starts. So I have my instrument! I love it. It completely rocks. I can play a total of five notes. I got it yesterday and could do nothing, so I'm improving. It's really really fun.

Now to go back a little ways, our trip to Utah with our cousin was really really fun! We did a lot of hiking and swimming in rivers. The best was one called Bear Creek, great swimming whole. There's a cliff to jump off of and all. the hike down is pretty easy too. The trail is a tad hard to find, but once you do it is amazing. We stayed at a place called Boulder Mountain Lodge. That is a really stellar place to stay. It is run by really nice people and beautiful. Location wise and kept wise. They have a restaurant there called Hell's Backbone. It is my favorite restaurant. By far. Their food is truly amazing. I can't even tell you.

My cousin was really fun to hang out with. She's a cool person. She might come down here next year too, that would be amazing. I know she occasionally reads this too. So ya. That's to you cousin!

This is a weird entry. I liked my last one better. Whatever though! It's always fun.

One more thing, fencing starts up again tonight, so that makes me happy. I've missed it. My sword has been on the wall too long, it's time to go fight my friends!!!! I'm a little out of it today. People very important to me are having a lot of drama. So it's just a little draining. I want to be there for them. I am I guess, but I want to do more. I dunno. Like I said, I'm kinda out of it. It will all be ok. I know it will.

Bass guitar is going well too! That's me at a glance lately. So ya! Later everyone.

Right Now

Right now it is 3:49 in the morning, I am writing a blog entry and listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers at my aunt's house. she picked me and my brother up at around four from our house. She lives about half an hour from us, so we drove to her house, waited for our uncle to get home from work, and left for an hour and a half drive to the airport to pick up my cousin.
My cousin's flight was delayed of course, so we had a long wait at the airport. Once she got there we drove an hour and a half back. Me my brother and her watched videos on you tube for a few hours. There is some crazy stuff on that sight. I'm not sure if it's good or bad. Any way. It was a long day.
It's really nice to see my cousin again! I haven't seen her since last summer. She's just about me and my brother's age, so it's easy to relate to her. Most of our family is older than us. It's nice to have someone our own age.
I'm tired but can't sleep. You know the feeling. I have an idea for a poem and an idea for a story, I might just start one or both of those. But not tonight... I need sleep.
Yet another day of chaos over! Seriously, today was chaos. Things lost and things found. I have stopped making sense. Later all!

The Happening: a movie reciew

I just saw the happening last night with my brother. This morning we looked up reviews because he said that it had gotten bad ones. We found these horrible reviews, so I decided to write my own.

The Happening was a disaster movie, but only in a certain sense. It was not at all like Signs, or The Sixth Sense, or any of his previous movies for that matter. It was more a statement than anything. More than that I would prefer not to say, as I believe that you should see this movie. I will only tell you that it starts out with some kind of an event, a terrorist attack or something starting at Central Park in New York. The main Character, Mark Wahlberg, is a science teacher at a high school in New York. He and all the other teachers and students are excused from the school as soon as news of this event reaches them. He, his wife, his best friend's daughter and his best friend's wife go away from New York, just to be safe. The wife of his best friend gets held up, and they decide to meet her at their destination. This is the introduction to the movie, and a lot happens in a short time.
That is not to say, however, that the characters are inadequately introduced. They were introduced with an art that surpassed almost anything that I have ever seen. I felt connected to the characters in a human sense. I also never for a second doubted their reality. The acting was simply amazing. The movie was intense to a degree that is quite amazing, and the way the actors deliver small moments of comic relief is wonderful. Without these small, funny moments to relieve the tension, it would become unbearable. Any one who degrades this technique for making a play or movie more enjoyable should know that Shakespeare, possibly one of the greatest writers (hacks) of all time, used it. Besides these funny moments, the film is frightening, engaging and thought provoking.
The thing that I loved about the film more than the moments of shear terror that I experienced sitting in that theater was the message. This movie has a distinct message to America. Or even to the entire human race. This message cannot be ignored.
Also, the science of the movie was, I think, and I will update all of you on this if I am wrong, good. I did a little research last night after the movie, and I believe that I found several articles that confirmed key points made in the movie to advance to plausibility of certain causes of the event. Research such as this is very rare in Holly Wood at this time. I will do further looking into on this subject, and write on it again.
Besides the acting and the plot in general, the camerawork was excellent. It was natural, with smooth cuts and occasional rough spots at the appropriate times in the movie. The cinematography was very well directed and executed.
The direction in general was simply amazing. You could see M. Night's hand in everything, but it was subtle and let the actors interpret things as they saw fit.
I loved this movie. I, quite honestly, believe that it is the best movie that I have seen this year, maybe in several years. I highly recommend it to anyone. You must see this movie. You cannot go to the theater expecting that you will come out exited about simply entertainment. It will leave you speechless, you will be far more than exited. It will make you think, maybe even change the way you do certain things everyday. When I left that theater I could feel an Aura of astonishment and awe. It was an amazing movie.
And I ask you this, what does the critic risk of himself? He does not share a part of himself with the world. opening it for critics to attack. Not a single critic has ever written a play, a song, a poem or a movie. None of them has ever acted or directed or been a cameraman. I am an actor and a writer. I ask you to keep an open mind and see this movie. It is amazing. It does not have a plot twist like the Sixth Sense, but it does not need one. It is just fine as it is.

Summer begins and I see Cloverfield

I survived another year at school. The first semester went by in a blur, and the second went by at a snails crawl. It was crazy. A lot of stuff came up with people that are very important to me, and that made the last week of school crazy. We figured most of it out though, so it's all good. The last week of school was just a few days long, and the longest ever. It was insanity, pure insanity.

I did go on tour though! That was with the jazz band, concert is there too, but I'm not in concert, so I think of jazzz. I love it. Tour was the most amazing thing to happen to me this year I think. We go to California for four days. We played at Universal Studios, Knottsberry Farm, and the Concert band and orquestra (they went too) did a clinique. I just felt like spelling it with a q. oh ya. anyway, it was amazing. The rides at Knotts and Universal are friekin' awesome. I wish I had had a little more time to go on them, but I didn't. It's all good though. I played really well at knotts, one of my best performances ever. It was awesome. Didn't do so well at Universal but that's ok. I had fun at both places.
On the second last day we went to Joe's Crab Shack and the beach. It was one of the best days of my life. Seriously, Joe's is always awesome, with their shirts and all. The beach... is one of my favorite places in the world. I love the ocean. It was a little cold but I didn't care at all. I'm going back to California at the end of July. It's going to be a blast.
We saw Wicked while we were on tour as well! It was an awesome show, the effects were amazing. I can't describe it to you. The only way for you to understand is to go see it.

Our Senior bassist is leaving, so I'm the man for jazz band when school starts out next semester. It's going to be amazing! I get to play every song. I'll miss Clayton (the other bassist) though. He was an awesome dude. I'm working really hard on music this summer, I'm going to pick up the bari horn as soon as possible, and learn to play that. I need to get that arranged soon, I will.

I'm getting a job with a glass blower. I'm going to learn to blow glass and get paid at the same time! It is awesome. He's a great guy.

I've gotten a lot closer to a certain person, they know who they are if they're reading this. So to you, thank you for being you. I'm always here for you. You're amazing and wonderful. Words are not ever enough. See you soon!

Besides all that, there's not much I can write about, except cloverfield. I saw it recently and I'm pretty into it. It's an amazing movie! Whoever hasn't seen it needs to. I dunno, it's so different, and the clover is so crazily scary. see Cloverfield. It's worth it.

I'll try to write more, I'm a busy man!

Closing Night, and Opening Day

Our Town, my play, has now closed. We finished on Sunday, the last show went very well. After strike (cleaning everything up) we had pizza and some peach cobbler. It was a wonderful opportunity, and I made a good many friends from the cast. After the cast party me and a few friends went to sushi. I had a lot to eat that night. It was good, I love sushi, one of my favorite foods. I really hope that I stay in touch with the cast, it would be a shame not to.

Music and school is also going very well. I just got back from state a few days ago with Jazz, and state was amazing!! It was my first time, and I got to know so many people better. It was awesome. We got a two, which is second best rating, and excellent. We didn't play our best, I guess you never do at state. A two is good though. I had to ride back with the orchestra to get back in time for the last Friday night show of Our Town. I wish I could've stayed. I've been practicing a lot, and I had a good idea about comping a few nights ago. New ideas are always good.

My life has been very strange lately. I don't know, things seem very unsure. It's hard to describe, and I'd probably rather not in font of the whole world.

Oh! one more thing, we're reading Romeo and Juliet in English. I'm exited about that. I love Shakespeare, even if he is a hack. He's a great hack. We're reading to the end of the first act tonight.

Adieu.

Notice Life!

OK, well, over the course of the play that I'm in, I have realized just how right the author is. Us humans notice so little of life, we just pass it by, do all the days chores without a second thought. I'm trying to notice more now, and it's funny how people that don't know each other never even look at one another. Even people that do know each other, it's amazing. So, if you read this, please notice life! Give every second your full attention, you do not have a million years to waste, so use the time you have. Take a second to talk to someone, really talk. Take a second to see the beauty in them, because everyone has their own beauty. It's wonderful to see. tonight, look at the stars, tomorrow morning, watch the flowers fly by your car window, watch the other people in their cars. Take a flower. Smell the air. Because one day, it will all be gone, and you will never smell it, taste it, hear it or feel it again. So enjoy it!! For god's sakes, please. Trust me.

Anyway...... life has been good. Especially noticing it *hint hint* Very little drama is going on, which is amazing. The play is going awesome, which is also amazing. There was one sad thing though, a kid that goes to our school died Saturday. I didn't know him, but it makes me sad. He was young, and so many people knew and loved him. I wish he was still alive. another reminder to notice life, and especially those that you love. They are the world, and can save you from it. Let's not make life a stage with no props. Please. Well, that's my rant for the day. Music is going well too, as always. So have fun everyone!

Hello Again

Hello all, I'm sorry for being so strange about posting everyday, I can just never remember. So I'm sorry. It has been a very very full few days. Our Town opened, and that was amazing. We got an awesome review in the local paper, and we all did superbly. It was insanely fun. I love the cast and crew, we all joke around together. There is one kid who is kind of annoying, but he's a nice guy. Hopefully a bunch of people are going to see it this weekend, so that'll be awesome.
Hell week was insane. We had practice from 6:00 to 10:00 every night. Ya, so I've spent a lot of time at the theater. It's all worth it though.

We just started foxtrot lessons in my dance class. I have taken it before, but it's nice to take it again. I'm hoping that I can get a steady partner to go with me, as I had to dance with the instructor, and a steady partner gets to know your leads really well. That helps both of you out. Maybe we could even get into a competitive scene. That would be awesome. I really hope that she says she'll come.

Dancing is a wonderful medium of expression, and movement. I'm glad that I have the opportunity to dance. It's really very fun.

The videos from my poetry slam has not been posted just yet, as soon as they are I'll put them up here. Thank all of you very much for your patience!

Poetry Reading

I just got back from an open mic poetry reading. It was just me and my Friends from the poetry club at first, but more people gradually filtered in. Most of them didn't read, but all of my friends and I did. I started by reading a poem that I wrote called "Reflections" I'll post it here, you can read it if you like. It is one of my better works.

Reflections

Have you ever stared into space?
I mean really stared,
Gazing into the fullness of everything,
Yet seeing the emptiness of a,
Deserted airport,
Or a dessert night.

Watching the rhythm,
That only you can see,
Yet the true nature of it,
Completely eludes even you,
It scratches at the door frame edges of you consciousness,
And entices you to open up,
But when you do there is nothing there,
Just a void,
An empty dock,
A blank page.

Do you know what I mean?
Or am I just going crazy;
Even if I am,
What I write makes sense to me,
Well, mostly.

I guess I don’t even know,
What my pen creates,
It is nearly a mystery to me,
Well,
Anyway,
My shoes are squeaking,
And the wind softly stirs my hair,
With its lover’s hands,
Life,
As sweet and disgusting as only it can be,
Flows around me,
The traffic of millions of dramas,
And I am one of them, just an atom.

I will soon be gone,
From this green park,
Oh, but it is seems so safe now,
So peaceful and cool,
A grassy fortress with no walls,
But I must depart,
And this,
My words that the park has never yet heard,
And only sensed,
Will be just one in millions upon millions of mellow-dramas,
That this park has witnessed,
I am just one,
In untold millions.

Maybe I should write,
‘bout villainy,
And goodness,
And peace and love,
But all I can say is avoid the first,
Stay true to the others,
I could tell you what I believe:
That every man,
No matter the color of his skin hair eyes,
Is nevertheless,
A man,
And every woman no matter the color of her eyes hair skin,
Is still a woman,
They are your brothers and sisters no matter what their religion or philosophy,
So I believe that you should treat us well.

I could tell you that.

Love is the highest achievement,
And death is part of life,
But you already know this don’t you?

No?
Then what do you believe?
Please tell me,
I want to know,
Let’s sit down, have a cup of coffee,
And just talk about it.

So come,
Stare into space with me,
And on the empty canvass of this full universe,
We’ll paint our lives.

Well after that, Ryan who works at the cafe, that hosted the Reading; read an amazing piece. It had a wonderfully strong rhythm and awesome rhymes. All the poems that I heard were amazing. After that first piece that I read, I just free styled. Free styling is very very fun, you get so into it and just say what's on your mind. The whole gig was an amazing amount of fun!! It had the feel of a family gathering, without the turkey and arguments. I can't wait till the next one on April 11 at The Applesauce TeaHouse.

The End of Spring Break

Well, sadly enough, spring break is coming to an end. I do have one more day, but I'll be doing homework through most of it. It was a really good break. I just kind of did nothing. Lots of practicing bass and rehearsing Our Town. Which both are coming along very nicely. We did the first full run of Our Town on Thursday, and that went really well. I'm really getting to know Si, my character. Bass is also coming along very well, I'm going to memorize where all the notes in all the keys are. That'll be fun.

I went to a friends birthday party yesterday, and that was also awesome. We played Halo and Call of Duty Four. I'm not really a video game person, but it was really fun. We watched I Am Legend as well, I love that movie. It makes you wonder what you would do if the world was over-run by zombies. Also makes you want to listen to Bob Marley. Ya. I found a cool picture with Will Smith walking. It's right there. I wish they put the dog in it....

So, on this beautiful evening, the second last of spring break, I am just thinking. It's good to just think sometimes. Sorry for not being more exiting, but life isn't always exiting. See everyone soon.

Rehersals and Masquerades

It's been a long time since I posted last, and for that I once again apologize. the play I'm in, Our Town, is going very well. we are just rehearsing at this point, but it's developing very nicely. It's very very fun. I'm finally really getting my character down. So that's good. I have a fairly small part, but I'm in the play, that's all that matters.
Jazz band is also going very nicely. Not too much else to talk about .
I did just see August Rush, and that was amazing. I would definitely recommend it.

A Week Later...

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to post, but saying that the past week has been hectic would be a gross understatement. I have had play rehersals jazz band and life. It's insane. Rehersals for Our Town (which I am in) are going well. It's really fun. We have new music in jazz, which rocks, and life is just as wonderful and complex as ever.

something important is very close, and it will be upon me soon.

Just a Few Concerts....

Hey all. It's been a hectic two days. I had a concert with the jazz band last night, that's why I didn't post anything. I got home and was totally dead. It was insane. We did well, all of us. I was happy with my performance personally as well. It was good. Concert band and orchestra also played, so I was there a long time. Orchestra was especially good. Not too much else yesterday, save a fun bass lesson, we went played With a Little Help from My Friends. That's a fun song. The Beatles are the best.

We had another concert today, in the morning. It was the NAU Jazz Fest, and that was fun too. We got a superior, which is awsome. I personally was happier with my performance last night, I lost my place near the beggining today and that threw me off, but I kept playing and noboby noticed. We did well enough. It would've been nice to get a superior with distinction, but supior is good.

We were all excused from the first three classes of the day, so when we got back me and a few others went to Taco Bell and got some food. That was fun, it was nice to be off campus. I did miss a test in Personal Fitness, though. I'll have to make that up. It's worth it. Leavig class like that could get addictive, but I need to keep up on my studies and everything. It's just nice to get away from all the wrok sometimes.

After all of that, I went fencing. That was awsome as always. I've been insanly busy lately, and I know my blog hasn't been too exiting. That's life though.

We have another concert tomarrow for jazz, it could be cancelled though. It'd be fun to play, always is. I love music, it's almsot as nessasary as oxygen. You can express anything through it, it can protect you or make you see the world. It's just amazing. Life without music would be a mistake.

Goodnight.
May your dreams stay happy.

Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 18 and 19.

I'm sorry for missing the post yesterday, it was a very uneventful day. I went to see Jumper, and we rented across the Universe later. Jumper was alright, not the best movie I had ever seen. Acting was not the best, but good, same with the writing and directing. Visual effects, however, were really good.

I love Across the Universe, one of my favorites. They did so wonderfully with the adaptions of the Beatle's music, the acting, writing, set, direction, cinimatography, everything was very good. I love the entire movie, but one of the scenes where the acting was really really good was that scene at the laundramat. Jude and Lucy get into a fight about the war, and fighting to stop it, and it was just real. Amazing.

Today was slightly more eventful than yesterday. Woke up early for jazz this morning, and then went to jazz. I have fun there, despite being tired. I just love the music. Our director wasn't in the best mood ever though. I'm sure he had a good reason. Just after an emmensly long and tiring day at school, I went to the after school poetry meeting. I always have fun at those. I did some writing I liked very much. I'll post it on here once I've revised it.

After poetry, I came home and went dancing. I love dancing. Ballroom, waltz tonight. Usually I would also have advanced salsa tonight, but I had too much to do at home. As I said, I love dancing. It's one of my passions. It was a good lesson; I have been through this level of waltz before, but it's always nice to refresh. Dancing is a good way to meet poeple and what-not. It is also a wonderful escape from all of life's problems. We all need a break sometime.

I felt like running away today, I was tired and out of it and behind in all the school work. It was terrible. Wrote a poem about it actually.

My escapes from life are, as I may have said before, music, acting, dancing, writing and reading. They all work wonderfully. We all, even the one with the easiest life of all, need escapes. I simply endevour to make mine healthy. Mine work better than drugs any way. Music will make everything go away, and has no negative side affects.

It's funny how tupsy-turvy life is. Isn't it? It can just be so crazy. Ah well, a story needs a conflict, right?

One more thing, if you do deside to check out the links on my favorite web sites list, I'm God of the Congo on the Dead Poet's society. All of my favorite stuff is there, writing anyway.

I'll see all of you, however few there are, tomarrow.

May happiness live in your heart,
Stay Well.

Just Another Few Days In The Life

Hello all, it hasn't been a very eventful weekend. I stayed at a friends house Saturday and Sunday. That was fun, we played a lot of Halo three. fun game, even though I'm terrible at it. My falconry sponsor came over today and did an autopsy on Beren. We think that it was a blood perisite or something of that nature. Whatever it was, it was nasty. It's not much easier now, but it's getting there.

On a happier note, I saw the movie Lucky Number Slevin at my friends house. It was pretty good. Wonderful plot, amazing acting and some nice explosions. It was about vengance though, which kinda put a damper on it for me, but oh well. Still a good movie.

I have been practicing my bass, as always, and I think I'm getting slap-bass down. I might be doing it wrong though... I'll have to ask one of my amazing bassist friends. Bassists are always awsome. I think I have a concert soon with the jazz band. That's always fun.

Thank god there's no school Monday (tomarrow)!!! I'm exhausted.

A little random tangeant on music, I'm kinda getting out of the heavier stuff. I.e. Some metallica, all Panterra, disturbed, some godsmack and some seether. It just doesn't appeal to me as much as it did.

I think this post has gone on for quite long enough. I won't bore you any longer. I'll post info on my little revolution tomarrow. Or the next day maybe.......

Music

I would just like to talk about my musical tastes, to give you a small taste of them. I love any music that is Really Good. Jazz, rock, broadway, country, whatever. As long as it is meaningfull, and musically good. My favorite, howeverm is jazz. This is not common nowadays, but I don't care. I especially like jazz bass, as that is the instrument I play. It's wonderfully complex and challenging. Some of my favorite artists are Luis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Micheal Buble, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, and there are so many more that I could not mention all of them. I need a really good jazz bassist to listen to. I'll ask my amazingly good bassist friend. He knows at least one.

I love my bass, I own a Jackson C20 concert bass, red. It's a wonderful bass. I can't play slap bass on it very easily though. It just takes a little effort. Funk is amazing, and I'm just getting good enough to play it well. Practice always pays off.

Farewell to Beren

As I mentioned earlier, my hawk, Beren, is no longer of this world. He died sometime yesterday, or the nigt before. We're not sure exactly how. I am simply saying my farewell. I loved him like a son, and now he's dead.

May his soul find eternal peace and happiness.

Some say that animals do not have souls, I think that he did. Everything does, but all of the souls are different than any other. That's what I think anyway.

Today is kinda that kind of day. Just thinking back on all the times we went out hunting and never caught anything. He would chase though. And all those times he would just be so stubourn and not do what I wanted him to. Anyway, this day I dedicate to Beren. In memoriam.

One Day in the Life of a Revolutionary

Hello, I am an artist. Not a drawing artist, but a musician and an actor and a writer. My life has been... well, I just lost my first hawk (I am a falconer as well), he was like a brother so forgive me if my postes have a slightly sad element in them for a little while.

I will post many things on this blog, poems, short stories, maybe even sheet music that I write. I will also post acounts of some of the important days of my life. This will be an outlet, and we all need an outlet sometimes.

I thank all that read it, For you will be seeing a glimpse of my life.
