I'm sorry for missing the post yesterday, it was a very uneventful day. I went to see Jumper, and we rented across the Universe later. Jumper was alright, not the best movie I had ever seen. Acting was not the best, but good, same with the writing and directing. Visual effects, however, were really good.
I love Across the Universe, one of my favorites. They did so wonderfully with the adaptions of the Beatle's music, the acting, writing, set, direction, cinimatography, everything was very good. I love the entire movie, but one of the scenes where the acting was really really good was that scene at the laundramat. Jude and Lucy get into a fight about the war, and fighting to stop it, and it was just real. Amazing.
Today was slightly more eventful than yesterday. Woke up early for jazz this morning, and then went to jazz. I have fun there, despite being tired. I just love the music. Our director wasn't in the best mood ever though. I'm sure he had a good reason. Just after an emmensly long and tiring day at school, I went to the after school poetry meeting. I always have fun at those. I did some writing I liked very much. I'll post it on here once I've revised it.
After poetry, I came home and went dancing. I love dancing. Ballroom, waltz tonight. Usually I would also have advanced salsa tonight, but I had too much to do at home. As I said, I love dancing. It's one of my passions. It was a good lesson; I have been through this level of waltz before, but it's always nice to refresh. Dancing is a good way to meet poeple and what-not. It is also a wonderful escape from all of life's problems. We all need a break sometime.
I felt like running away today, I was tired and out of it and behind in all the school work. It was terrible. Wrote a poem about it actually.
My escapes from life are, as I may have said before, music, acting, dancing, writing and reading. They all work wonderfully. We all, even the one with the easiest life of all, need escapes. I simply endevour to make mine healthy. Mine work better than drugs any way. Music will make everything go away, and has no negative side affects.
It's funny how tupsy-turvy life is. Isn't it? It can just be so crazy. Ah well, a story needs a conflict, right?
One more thing, if you do deside to check out the links on my favorite web sites list, I'm God of the Congo on the Dead Poet's society. All of my favorite stuff is there, writing anyway.
I'll see all of you, however few there are, tomarrow.
May happiness live in your heart,
Stay Well.
